The Batchelder Tile collection reproduces the original stoneware pavers produced by the Batchelder-Wilson Tile Company of Pasadena at the turn of the 20th century. The warm and inviting aesthetic of these unglazed pavers embodies the uniquely American Arts & Crafts tradition. Used indoors or outdoors, the Batchelder pavers add historic charm to your space.

Introduced in 1909 by Ernest Batchelder, this flooring collection became immensely popular throughout America during the 1920's. We undertook extensive product development to achieve a truly accurate reproduction of this quintessential Craftsman tile collection. Choose from a multitude of shapes, sizes, and color options to create your field and border design.
The field pavers in this collection are made of an unglazed, high-fired stoneware body with naturally pigmented clay. The 6" stone-hammer paver is a shape uniquely seen in this collection and has become an iconic part of Batchelder tile.
Our classic field patterns are pre-mounted and pre-blended, ready for a quick-ship fulfillment for the most time sensitive projects. Alternatively, if you are looking for a more unique pattern, loose field tiles and hand-carved decorative accent tiles can be purchased so you can create your own. Varied color blends are also available, bringing originality and creativity to the design while maintaining the historic integrity of the tile.
Batchelder Tile pavers are the ideal choice for mud-rooms, sun-rooms, entryways, hearths and patios. Celebrate the return of this classic tile collection, the perfect complement to the American Craftsman home.
